It’s been raining on and off for the past three days. Thursday, it rained ALL day. Hard. We even had thunder and lightning, which of course scared the boys because it’s unusual weather for here. It rained hard enough that I didn’t feel right leaving them outside, and so they napped (thank goodness) inside most of the day. The wind blew hard enough that it knocked the stoneware crock off the table on the front porch, breaking it. And, while we needed the rain, and I was grateful for it, I was ready for it to be over. Friday it rained on and off and was quite cool. This morning I woke up to more rain, although it does look like it’s trying to clear off finally and just in time. I really need a sunshine fix.
