My SIL Called Today
My nephew went for a routine dentist visit yesterday.
And came out with devastating news.
While he was waiting to see the dentist at Shriner’s Hospital for Children, his regular doctor came by and immediately noticed the growth behind his ear. He took him back immediately to start checking things out. He wants it removed ASAP because he’s sure it’s malignant. When he was two and a half, he had a growth removed from one side of his jawbone. Now there’s one in the other side that’s also going to require immediate surgery.
My nephew was born with a congenital disease. He’s had countless surgeries and procedures in his short life. And yet, for the most part he’s a happy person with very few complaints about the limitations he faces regularly. He’s smart, witty and has a real enjoyment for living in the moment that I envy.
I just don’t understand why things like this happen.

Thank Goodness he caught it!!!
It’s great his doctor is so on top of things. It’s amazing how those with the most trials show us how life should really be lived.
I’m glad his doctor caught it, and hope the surgery goes well.
Oh, how scary! I’m happy to hear they caught it quickly, and I hope everything will go smoothly for the surgery.
Would you like to exchange link with me?
Oh Sue, I’m sorry for him! I’m glad the doc was on top of it and is requesting immediate surgery to get it taken care of!! He’ll be in my thoughts & prayers! HUGS!
I am saying some prayers for everyone. I don’t understand stuff like that either. It makes no sense.
