Chocolate Martinis
The first day of school is over. I was up at 3:30 this morning thinking about the difficulties we’ve had getting accurate numbers. I finally got up and went in at 5:00 to problem solve as best I could.
I was told that overall it went really well. I can’t honestly say that I felt that way but it did okay for the most part. At least it’s over. Next week everyone will settle down into a routine and there is comfort in routines.
I’m celebrating the first day of school being over with chocolate martinis (2) and now a chocolate vodka-diet coke float.
At the very least, I should sleep well tonight.
Oh yeah, and how weird is this? Lucy got an invitation to apply for an American Express card in the mail today. (Just in case you don’t know, Lucy is one of my dogs.)
Interesting….now if there are odd dog food charges you’ll know who to blame.
I can’t believe school is already starting!
School starts early where you are. Or school starts late where I am…lol. They don’t go back until September here.
My cat Floyd once won passes to a golf course when my son entered him in a contest.
