I Really Should Have Gone to Work Today
I stayed home with Lucy today, mostly to make sure she didn’t eat her bandage off. If I had realized how the morning was going to go, I would have never made that decision.
My lawn guy showed up a little before 8:00 and began his routine (I guess, I’m not usually here). I had all three dogs inside with me, and I discovered him and his 2 dogs in my backyard when I put Luke and Cotton out. I walked out to give him his check, and he asked why I was home. I explained about Lucy’s injury as best I could (he claims to not understand English and my Spanish is extremely limited at best). He followed me to the back door to see Lucy’s leg I thought. He then began touching me and trying to kiss me. I told him no, to stop. He said “Come on, Come on” while still trying to kiss and grope me, trying to get inside the kitchen the entire time. I kept saying no and then I pushed him out and locked the door. I called Sarah who called John. I don’t even remember how I got Luke and Cotton back in the house, but I did. John and Sarah came over, and John told him to never come near me again and to never come to the house again. When he tried to approach the door to talk to me, John stopped him.
I’ve now filed a report against him with the police. They were very helpful and seemed concerned about the situation. They filled out the necessary paperwork so that he isn’t allowed near my house. They also waited until he finished before leaving. Before someone thinks this sounds extreme, this isn’t the first time I’ve had problems with him, and I live alone. I need to protect myself. If he comes near the house again, he can be arrested.
I’ve also taken three showers and still feel creeped out.
Quite honestly, there’s no apology that can make this better. I don’t feel safe in my home and I can’t get what’s happened out of my mind.

That is VERY scary and I’m glad your friends were close and could come over and help you. I’m also glad you filed a police report as well and he knows you did too.
Gracious. Take care!
How awful for you! I’m glad your friends and the police were there to help you. I hope you’re okay. ((hugs))
That is *so* scary! I don’t think what you did was extreme at all considering what I was thinking I would have done to the ^%$#@! It is nice that John was there to help you out and that you filed a report.
glad your friends came over to help you out. stay safe girl.
