Yesterday the weather people issued a freeze warning, and so I moved all my herbs inside to protect them, and I moved the mums onto the table on the front porch. When I put the dogs out at 5 a.m. it was 28F out. They were in a hurry to come back inside after they’d finished their business. I’ve decided to just leave the plants where they are for the time being. I lost my grapefruit tree last year due to freezing temps several nights in a row.

The nice thing, however, is that by noonish it will warm up into the 60s F.
