Guess Who Really Is in Charge of the Yard?

It was a lovely afternoon outside today…the temp was 75F and the sun was shining. The dogs were as happy to be outside as I was. Here is Lucy daring Cotton to try to get his chew from her. The important thing to know about Lucy and that particular chew is that she doesn’t actually want to chew it…she just doesn’t want the boys to either. And so when she’s out, she gathers all of their toys and chews and stands guard, daring them to try to get them away from her. Understand, please, that each boy weighs at least double what Lucy does. At first there was much barking and carrying on over the whole thing, but now Cotton and Luke have figured out that if they wait long enough and act nonchalant about the whole thing she gives up.

Makes sence to me not to share or even let the boys get a taste.
Haha. Though it’s a little mean of Cotton, I find it really amusing as to how smart the other two dogs are.
