Broken Water Heater

Imagine my surprise when I went to take a shower after mowing the front and side yards last night to discover no hot water! It was warm enough that I was able to somewhat enjoy the shower, but nevertheless the water heater was out. John came by this morning and lit it three times. It always lights but doesn’t stay lit. And so sometime in the (hopefully) near future I’ll be purchasing a new water heater. Ironically if it had waited a month or so I might not have even really noticed because once the temperature outside never dips below 90F or so at night, the water is never truly cold. *sigh*

The joys of being a homeowner!! If it’s not one thing, it’s another.
Have a good weekend!
Our water heater kept doing that when we moved into our new house. I figured out that when I shut the door to the laundry room I was closing it so fast that the movement of air blew out the pilot. Never below 90 at night… Wow.
It is always something isn’t it with houses?
Doesn’t it feel like it is hard to get AHEAD when you keep having these setbacks? Geez. I hate that
I hope it doesn’t end up costing you too much!!! And goodness I can’t IMAGINE it never getting below 90! I wouldn’t even be able to wear CLOTHES lol Is the humidity bad there?? 90 here in Oklahoma is HORIRBLE because the humidity is so bad!
