1. I live just west of Phoenix, AZ.
2. I love the weather.
3. Even though I gripe about the heat in the summer.
4. I used to live just south of Chicago, IL.
5. I hate snow.
6. I’m afraid to drive on snow.
7. I have 3 brothers.
8. My older brother has special needs. He was born with a congenital disease. He’s in a wheelchair, very severely motor-impaired, and legally blind.
9. My nephew was also born with a congenital disease, Epidermal Nevus Syndrome.
10. He had his first surgery when he was 3 months old.
11. I’m a twin.
12. I have twin first-cousins too.
13. My twin and I were born on my older brother’s 2nd birthday.
14. My younger brother is five years younger than me.
15. I have a wonderful niece and nephew.
16. I have three dogs: Lucy, Cotton and Luke.
17. I’m an administrator at an elementary school.
18. Kindergarten is my favorite grade.
19. I taught first grade for a year…and loved it.
20. I taught for seventeen years.
21. I have a MAED in Elementary Ed and a second MAED in Administration and Supevision.
22. I’m working on my doctorate in Educational Leadership.
23. I enjoy going to school.
24. I’m fruit and vegetable challenged.
25. Strangely enough, though, I do like broccoli.
26. I like to garden.
27. I love to read.
28. I like to sew.
29. My Mom died in February 2004. I miss her still every day.
30. I like to have the tv on for background noise.
31. HGTV is one of my favorite channels.
32. I love butterflies.
33. I love seafood, especially stuffed crab.
34. Strawberries are my favorite fruit. I could eat them every day.
35. Lucy ate my strawberry plants our first spring in Arizona.
36. I only eat iceberg lettuce.
37. I love cherry tomatoes.
38. And roma tomatoes with mozarella cheese.
39. I don’t drink milk.
40. But I love cottage cheese.
41. Cantaloupe and cottage cheese is one of my favorite meals.
42. I love chips and dip.
43. One of my favorite drinks is a Milky Way Martini.
44. I am not a big fan of candy.
45. My favorite holiday is Christmas.
46. When we were kids, we always got to open one gift on Christmas eve.
47. I love to cook.
48. Being outside makes me feel at peace.
49. I broke my heel and it took forever to heal.
50. Even though I often have the tv on for background noise, I can also spends hours and days in silence.
51. I own more pairs of shoes than I should.
52. That doesn’t stop me from looking for more.
53. I don’t usually understand what all the hype over certain books and movies is about.
54. I don’t think anyone has the right to make decisions for another person.
55. I tend to be very organized and methodical.
56. I organize clothes by color.
57. My favorite color changes all the time, depending on my mood.
58. My Many Colored Days by Dr. Seuss is one of my favorite books.
59. So is O The Places You’ll Go, also by Dr. Seuss.
60. I appreciate the honesty of young children, even if it’s brutal at times.
61. My favorite kind of food is Italian.
62. Although Mexican and Chinese are close behind.
63. I like to go to drink diet Coke with chocolate vodka.
64. I like children’s books…and owned about 500 of them at one time.
65. I’m a pisces.
66. I like to be near the water.
67. I can swim, but I don’t particularly like to swim.
68. I hate driving.
69. I get a bad case of road rage when I drive on I-10.
70. Pismo Beach is one of my favorite vacation spots.
