I had a nice time in Tucson (the pic is a view from my hotel room), but I was happy to get home late Wednesday afternoon. It was funny because during one workshop a monsoon storm came through the area. People got up during the speaker’s presentation to watch it hail out!
Thankfully when I got home no trees had been ignited in or near my yard. The dogs didn’t miss me much because John and Sarah took such good care of them. The next morning, Cotton and Lucy, who had both been ignoring me since my return both acted thrilled to see John (Lucy even kissed his arm!).
Later today I’m going over to John and Sarah’s for a barbeque. Other than that, I’m hoping for a very quiet and restful weekend.

In a little over a month (health-willing), I’ll be heading to Pismo Beach for some rest and relaxation. I’ll be staying here where the ocean waves can soothe me.

Logan thoroughly enjoyed LegoLand from the minute we arrived to the minute we reluctantly left. I have to admit, it was much more entertaining than I expected. It’s amazing to see some of the things they have built with Legos. Even if I hadn’t enjoyed it, it would have been worth it just watching Logan have such a great time.
Everyone slept in this morning, still trying to recover from the trip. There was a message from my doctor when I got home yesterday and so I called back today. Little problem with my blood work and so he’d like me to take an increased dose of one of my meds this month. I tried to convince him it was stress, but he wasn’t buying it. I told him I’d let him know what I decided.
After having pictures re-taken this afternoon (they’re much better), we’re lounging around watching movies to stay cool.
